Starbank Cottage is a traditional stone croft situated in the village of Scarfskerry on the shores of the Pentland Firth an ideal location for a vacation in the far north of Scotland. The village of Scarfskerry is located just off the A836 midway between Thurso and John O'Groats. The self-catering cottage is in a rural setting with panoramic views of Dunnet Head, the most northerly point on the UK mainland, and over the Pentland Firth to the islands of Orkney.
The holiday cottage has been tastefully decorated, retaining the original wood linings and incorporating the orginal byre (cowshed) into the cottage.
The cottage has oil fired central heating, is fitted with double glazing and has an ample walled and fenced lawned garden suitable for children and dogs, a gate gives access across the fields to the sea shore.
The cottage has a selection of adult and children's games, a range of fiction; wildlife; local interest books, DVD's, there is also tourist information, maps and details of local walks.
